Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Mythea ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not share your account or use another player's account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

Your use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms. It covers fair play, player conduct, account rules, and enforcement. By using the Service you agree to be bound by it.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, game mechanics, graphics, and code comprising the Mythea Service are owned by Mythea and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

6. Purchases & Virtual Items

Virtual items and in-game purchases have no real-world monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash. We reserve the right to modify, adjust, or remove in-game items as part of ongoing game balance and development.

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have a statutory 14-day right to cancel digital purchases. However, by completing a purchase and accessing digital content immediately, you expressly request early access and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is waived from the point at which the content becomes available to you. This does not affect your statutory rights in relation to defective or misdescribed content.

Our full Refund Policy sets out the circumstances in which we will issue refunds and how to request one. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store card details.

7. User Content

You may submit content to Mythea through in-game chat and other communication features. You retain ownership of any content you create, but by submitting it you grant Mythea Ltd a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store, and moderate that content as necessary to operate the service.

You are solely responsible for content you submit. You must not submit content that is unlawful, offensive, discriminatory, threatening, or that infringes the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove any content and to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly or seriously violate this policy, without prior notice.

8. Service Availability

We aim to maintain a stable, available service but do not guarantee uptime. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify players of significant changes.

9. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or permanently close your account if you breach these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy, or if we are required to do so by law. In serious cases we may act without prior notice.

If your account is permanently closed for a breach of our policies:

• ✦ Access to the Service is revoked immediately
• ✦ Any virtual items or in-game currency associated with your account are forfeited and will not be refunded
• ✦ Any unused purchases are non-refundable where the closure was caused by your own breach

You may also close your account at any time by contacting us at contact@mythea.com. On account closure your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Virtual items have no monetary value and are not transferable or refundable on voluntary closure.

Clauses that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law — will continue to apply after your account is closed.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, your statutory rights are not affected.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mythea shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, loss of in-game progress, or service interruptions. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Mythea in the twelve months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of material changes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
